Hi, I’m Elizabeth.
And I’m all about making my audience feel their feelings—y’know, making them laugh, cry, rage, all that messy stuff.
I grew up somewhere between the Four Lands and Hyrule, at some point between the first coterie and the Second Interspace Migration. Most people just call it Washington.
I spent my childhood free time either gaming or writing. Then I dabbled in a myriad of careers from manning the retail floor, to whittling away the hours in a cubicle, to practicing massage therapy. Along the way, I earned a B.A. in Humanities from Washington State University and hadn’t the foggiest idea what to do with it.
When I started copyediting video games at Nintendo and Harebrained Schemes, I realized I never should have put my pencil down. I even dove back into the college fray to earn a Certificate in Editing from the University of Washington and later completed The Narrative Department’s Game Writing Masterclass.
Today, as a narrative designer, I’ve opened a whole new gateway to immersive storytelling and narrative design—and I’m loving every moment.
It only took a couple of decades for me to circle back and combine my two childhood passions. But hey, at least I got there.
When I’m not crafting games, I’m either lifting weights, practicing Muay Thai, drawing, or baking sweet confections.
