Writing Advice Roundup: Horror

I’ve decided to turn my writing-guide posts into informational roundups because 1) I’ll be honest, it saves me time, and 2) because I learned most of what I know from somewhere else. So why not share my sources of knowledge and inspiration?

Most of my work before The Silver Wall fell somewhere into the high fantasy or marketing categories, so grimdark was a whole new and exciting challenge. I’ve been an avid fan of games like Diablo, shows like Supernatural, Lovecraft Country, and The Witcher, and otherwise most things dark and creepy. But I hadn’t the faintest idea how to create anything like that! Here are some resources I found helpful.
